As a Matoran of Magnetism, North developed an ability to not to be magnetized. This later became an ability that allowed him to control it when he became a Toa. He is able to create a field of magnetism around himself for flight or magnetize a part of his body to an object. He could also increase and decrease the magnetism of anything and create a magnetic field around it at will. North can also use his magnetism to bring his weapon to him if they are knocked out of his wrists.

During his years as a Matoran, North wielded a sword and mini shield that he used to train Matoran that worked as soldiers and guards. When he became a Toa, he uses a sword and knife for melee. When battling from a distance, North takes out his sniper rifle with a built in scope. The rifle has a 12 shot limit that can pierce even protosteel. He also carries an energy pistol that can shot 50 rounds. On North's left wrist is a material generators. The generators can produce working materials that are preprogramed by him. In the future as a Turaga, North wields a magnet staff and his shield.

As a Matoran, North wore a powerless Kanohi Kiril, and later a Great Kiril and in the future a Noble Kiril. The mask allowed him to regenerate inanimate objects and buildings, but not living things.

Generally North gets along with most people and level-headed. He also is very wise for a Toa and very eccentric. He acted as the level head and neutral party in team arguements. At times however, he is at odds with Vil-ra with her lone wolf tatics.

As a Matoran, North worked with the Great Beings in research and combat for Matoran, Agori, and Galtorian. He soon was encountered a Turaga that gave him a Toa Stone and told him to find the truth. He soon became a lone Toa that protected both near and far from the Matoran. He soon faced many threats to the universe. North then began to work with a Toa team led by a strange Toa. There he faced many threats that he never imagined.
